The Albion is the favorite haunt of Miami's fashion media design and entertainment industry. The Albion was originally designed by architect Igon Polivirsky and his masterpiece resembling a luxury ocean liner on dry land. The Albion was reopened in 1997 after a complete renovation by avant-garde architect Carlos Zapata. The style is contemporary minimalist design with a cutting edge approach. The Albion is about where the old art deco sign meets the new generation of the 21st century. All rooms are custom designed by Carlos Zapata and feature furniture in blond maple wood and stainless steel. The bathrooms have slate floors and stainless steel vanity tops. All rooms are equipped with an entertainment center with cable TV CD player and mini bar. VCRS are available upon request. Each room has two dual phones with voice mail and data port.
