The Sheraton Taipei Hotel is located in the heart of Taipei's commercial, governmental, banking and shopping areas. It is close to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and takes a few minutes from the freeway to the International Airport and central and southern Taiwan. The hotel offers 322 spacious rooms and suites. Many areas of the hotel are renovated- Pizza Pub from January 1, 2004 until July 31, 2004. and the business center and Starwood Preferred Guest Lounge from September 15, 2003 through March 31, 2004. Two-thirds of the lobby area are closed. The reception area and Lobby Lounge are now set near the side entrance of the hotel. Four Seasons Cafe has been temporarily moved to the 17th floor. The new lobby area reopened at the beginning of April 2004. Rooms on the eastern wing are renovated from July 1, 2003 through february 28, 2005.
