This hotel is the grand olde dame of buildings in Singapore, located on Beach Road, this former beachfront property is now relegated almost 1 kilometre inland from the land reclaimation works. Nevertheless its location is within the colonial district where much of Singapore's colonial heritage lies.
Room Description
The rooms are large with high ceilings. They have ceiling fans as well as full airondtioning. Furnishing are old world style with cupboards and dressing table and bed. Bathrooms are galzed tiled, again of the turn of the century style. There is a sitting parlour with a bar and TV at the entrance and beyond the parlour threshold is the bedroom proper. All the charms of the old world with the functionality of the modern.
