The complete renovation of the Grand Hotel Europe between 1989 and 1991 returned the hotel’s rooms and suites to a level of gracious elegance and luxurious comfort that St. Petersburg had not seen since the era of the Tsars. The result is 301 accommodations of truly exceptional quality, replete with handsome period furnishings, tasteful decor, and a generous sense of space and ease. Guests may choose from among several different classes of rooms and suites. The entire second floor is a non-smoking area.

• Classic Rooms: Standard and Superior Classic rooms vary in size and layout. Each comprises an entrance way and a bedroom with twin, double or king-size bed. Bathroom amenities include a hairdryer. Each room is equipped with a minibar, personal safe, satellite TV, international phone, writing desk and armchairs.
• Terrace Rooms: The Terrace rooms on the fifth floor are all double rooms with balconies. Layout, style and size are similar to the Classic rooms.
• Belle Chambres: The Belle Chambres rooms are about twice the size of the Standard rooms. Furnished with antique and period reproduction pieces, they are equipped with all of the amenities available in the Classic rooms.
• Classic Suites: The Classic suites feature carefully renovated historical furnishings and comprise an entrance hall, a lounge, a bedroom, a bath and a guest washroom.
• Duplex Suites: The split-level Duplex suites separate bedrooms with double or king-size beds from lounge and working areas. Each suite is equipped with a sofa, chairs and writing desk.
• Executive Suites: The Executive suites range in size from 50 to 60 square meters. Each suite is equipped with stereo and video systems.
• Presidential Suites: The Lidval and the Rossi Suites have a long history of hosting VIP guests. Furnished in classical style with antiques, they are suitable for meetings, entertaining, or just relaxing.
