An old but classic hotel that offers almost 80 elegant and comfortable guestrooms.Nikko Kanaya Hotel is one of Japan's most time-honored existing hotels and as a witness to history, from Meiji and Showa times to today's Heisei era. This is a classic hotel, remembered fondly by the movers and shakers who have shaped the history of modern times.

There are 2 train lines available going to Nikko, the Nikko Line of East Japan Railway Company (JR) from Utsunomiya and Nikko Line of Tobu Railway Company from Asakusa in Tokyo. From Asakusa, it is approximately 10 minutes super express train ride.

A number of bus and other public transpostation are available if guests wish to tour the city.

A rich variety of 80 guest rooms are available in four historic buildings built at times ranging from the classic Meiji era (1866-1912) to the mid-1950s.

Special Deluxe Room is the biggest and most spacious guestroom (62 square metres), with separate living room and bedroom. The room offers serenity being placed on top floor of the hotel's rear and displays the spectacular view of the Sannai district, home of Toshogu Shrine, Futarasan Shrine, and Rinnoji Temple, and the Nikko mountain range.

lasic A Rooms are available in different sizes (64-45 square metres in the Annex and 62 square metres in the New Building). Classic A rooms in the Annex feature 2 large windows showcasing Mount Nantai across the Daiya River, while Clasic A rooms in the New Building have limited view but offer spacious area.

Classic B Rooms are also available in different size, ranging from 28 to 52 square metres. Each room of this room category offers varying features and amenities.

Also available are Class C to G guestrooms.
