This hotel offers standard American convenience but with a rich mix of Asian and European design. Unlike most Holiday Inns, it keeps a low profile; it's hidden in the middle of a block and has a small, intimate lobby that resembles a rich merchant's home in old Nagasaki rather than a place to check in. Note, however, that the cheapest singles face a wall 1 foot away; if you're claustrophobic, specify a room with an outside view.
