The Zum-Rappen Gasthof is an ideal base for the budget traveler who looks for a basic, clean and friendly hotel. Located outside the city walls near the Wuerzburger Tor, it is next to the Gasthof-zum Rappen. This recently built property very much resembles a typical English country-house, subtly painted in a creamy color with sloping tiled roofs, with car parking space at the front. The bedrooms are large on average, bright and airy, and equipped with modern soft furnishings in attractive, neutral color schemes. With the addition of coffee table, writing desk and chairs in light wood, mirrors and lamps, it totally creates a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

This hotel is located immediately outside the city walls, in front of the 'Wuerzburger Tor' (city gate).

The rooms are sparcely furnished in simple style. They are all different shapes and sizes, but on average are medium sized. Again, though basic, they are in good condition, though it must be admitted the bathrooms are only in fair condition.
