Tunturi hotel is located in a large area of land with only a road off the town. There is no real center to the small village of Saariselka, and Saariselan. Built in 1959. the hotel is a combination of low rise sprawling buildings set in woodland. Some parts are wooden in design while others were built from stone materials. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities to compliment the variety of accommodation types. It is an excellent and characteristic base to explore lappish countryside and move on northwards to north cape. The hotel contains 2 floors.
