The Kun Lun Hotel was opened for service in 1986. It is the first 5-star hotel managed by the group of professional Chinese people. In 1995, Kun Lun Hotel was listed as one of China's "Fifty Best Hotels" and won the "Five Star Diamond Award" issued by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in 1996.
